BIOGRAPHY:
born to a well-respected family in the heart of Icheon, kim sungkyu is the youngest of three children; two older brothers preceding him in birth, both favourited amongst their parents— sharing an emotionally unavailable father, &. a loving but particular mother.. sungkyu raised under the shadow of his older brothers, taught to bow before them as if they weren’t his equals; as if he wasn’t equal. into his teen years &. adulthood, his relationships within his family would break apart. presenting as an omega at the age of sixteen, sungkyu’s father never hid his disappointment.at the age of twenty - one, after years of no contact with his family, his parents would be murdered in what sungkyu still believes to be a crime committed by his older brothers— a hope to gain money, power. he makes this apparent, in &. out of media that follows the case.. they’re never charged, despite evidence no sane person could deny. sungkyu worries one day, they’ll come for him, too.hidden from his family, something kept from his parents &. siblings alike, is his psychometry; described as the ability to discover facts about an event or person by touching inanimate objects associated with them.— this affected sungkyu’s childhood greatly. leaves him sensitive to touch in his adulthood.after his university years, where he studied fine arts &. literature, sungkyu disappeared into the city of Seoul with no word to his siblings or other estranged family members. he creates a name for himself in the art world, using himself as a model for certain works; allow his past to wove deep into his writings, into his sculptures &. paintings..
